The HR team is made up of 8 team members who manage end to end HR operations, compensation and benefits, secretarial services, talent acquisition and employee wellbeing. HR partners with the business to ensure our strategic plans are underpinned by progressive people and culture plans which place people at the heart of our business. Whether that’s rolling out a total health and wellbeing programme, developing a new flexible working policy, driving campaigns to recruit graduates for our traineeships or implementing a new self-service HR system; creating a unique and engaging work experience for you is what we are all about.

Our 5-week in person paid internship will equip you with professional skills and experience to enrich your development. For the duration of your internship, you will be working with the HR department and assigned to a buddy and supervisor to ensure you are fully supported. You will be fully immersed in HR projects while receiving formal training and mentoring, to empower you to get the most from the opportunity. The internship will provide opportunities to get involved in CSR activities, network with our people across the firm, and socialise with your fellow interns.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Talent Acquisition Manager with interview scheduling, issuing contracts, and reference requests
  • Support the HR Operations team with the onboarding and leaver processes
  • Assist the Graduate Programme Manager with the running of the legal summer internship
  • Assist the FryWell committee with the coordination of wellbeing events and content for the monthly staff newsletter

Skills required:

  • Penultimate/final year student or recent graduate studying a Business or HR related degree
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Energetic engagement and the ability to work as part of a team
  • A good work ethic

  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn
